Dear Patients of Friedman Optometry,

We are excited to announce that Friedman Optometry will be reopening for comprehensive patient care and optical services on Monday 5/4/2020. Our decision is based on guidance by the CDC, State and County Health Departments. While we will be open for business, our operations will be dramatically adjusted to ensure the safety of patients and Friedman Optometry team members. Please review the following guidelines:

  • All individuals in the office will be required to wear a mask. Please bring your own mask.

  • A team member will be screening for COVID-19 symptoms and checking temperatures of all patients entering the office.

  • All eye examinations and optical services are by appointment only. Walk in examinations and optical services are not available.

  • If you need to pick up eyeglasses or need an adjustment on your current eyeglasses please call the office to schedule an appointment.

  • Upon arriving for an appointment please call/text the office from your vehicle. Our team will process your arrival while you wait in your vehicle and call/text you when it is time to enter the office.

  • We ask that you complete the necessary paperwork before visiting the office. The forms are available through the ‘patient forms’ link on our website. If you are unsure which forms need to be completed for your visit please call the office for more information.

  • Only patients may enter the office.

  • If the patient is a child we ask that only one parent accompany them.

  • If you require mobility assistance, one additional individual may accompany you to the office.

The Friedman Optometry Team will be maintaining a strict disinfection protocol to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19. This includes disinfecting all eyeglass frames after each time they are touched or worn. All common area surfaces including tabletops, door knobs and armrests will be frequently disinfected. The number of patients in the office will be limited and closely monitored for your protection.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we safely reopen our office to serve your eyecare needs.

Sincerely,

Brandon Friedman, O.D.
